With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sam Sink (Portsmouth, Ohio), born in Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on March 23, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sink and Eva Johnson Sink; his son Britt Sink; his sister Sue; and his brother-in-law Tom Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Ruthmary Nolan Sink; his children, Jon Sink of Louisville, Keith Wamsley (Myrna) of Wheelersburg, Kim Trahan of Louisville, KY, Debbie Hutchinson of Franklin Furnace and Kathy Purdy of Portsmouth; his grandchildren, Brian Hutchinson, Brad Hutchinson (Angie), Brandon Hutchinson (Becca), Lynnsey Holland (Todd), Amanda Purdy, Michael Purdy (Missy), Alex Wamsley (Sarg), Adam Wamsley and Sammy Sink; and his close friend Scott Luther. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
