He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Jean Newman (Eshem); his parents, Kenneth Newman and Mildred Newman (Abshire); his daughter Samantha Elaine Newman; and his grandson Robert Clay Seagraves.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Lynn Seagraves of Portsmouth and Kathyrn Lianne Newman (Kathy) of Portsmouth; his grandchildren, Christopher Seagraves, Samuel Newman, Jaxon Newman and Reagan Newman; his sister Brenda Delamora; his cousin Dave Newman; and his niece Robin Bentley of Portsmouth. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
