He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gordan and Frances Combs Armstrong; his wife Margie Jordan Armstrong; and his siblings, Fred Armstrong and Sandra Bivens.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Armstrong (Teresa) of Wheelersburg and Kimberly Jordan (Rick) of Waverly; his brother Denver L. Armstrong of Argillite, KY; his granddaughters, Megan Henry (Matt) and Ashley Igo (Greg); and his great grandchildren, Carson Henry, Rylee Igo, Paisley Igo and Mason Igo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brant Funeral Service (422 Harding Ave, Portsmouth, OH 45662). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Burial Park (10556 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH 45694).
