She was predeceased by: her father Robert Lee; her husband Robert Stapleton; her brothers, Walter Wayne Strickland and Bud Strickland; her half-brother John Miller; and her sister Mary Grace Miller-Stacy.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Jones of Portsmouth, Linna Madden (Dale) of Franklin Furnace and Patricia Teeters (Ricky) of Sebring, Ohio. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
