McGinnis and Birdie Jordan McGinnis; his former wife Etta Louise Rayburn McGinnis; his wife Zelma Faye Collins McGinnis; his son Steven Christopher McGinnis; his stepson David Collins; and his siblings, William Arthur McGinnis, David Eugene "Gene" McGinnis, Gladys Hossman and Marilyn Whaley.
He is survived by: his son Randall Edward McGinnis (Patty) of Redding, CA; his daughter-in-law Debra I. McGinnis of Portsmouth; his stepdaughter Debby Collins of Sciotoville; and his grandchildren, Christopher McGinnis (Jamie), Rebecca R. Kalb (Bruce), Lane McGinnis, Ryan Kelly (Candi), Amy Coriell (Wade), J. R. Collins, Tony Sowards (Becky), Tara Bedford (Robbie) and Ashley Green (Josh).
