She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Franklin and Ella Mae Hoffer Moore; her husband Leroy Abdon; her children, Charles Edward Carpenter, Eleanor Lee Carpenter and Judith Ann Walls; and her siblings, William, Ernest, Charles, Arthur, Lloyd Moore, Pearl "Icie" Moore, Elsie Meade and Evie Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Everett Ray Carpenter (Jackie) of Portsmouth, Jane Arlene Arnett of Wheelersburg, Margaret Elaine Waddell (Tom) of Pierston, IN and Jill Marlene Hayslip (Keith) of Wheelersburg. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
