He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Ray Bivens and Grace Cottingham Bivens. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Bivens of South Shore, KY, Katelyn Basham (Nickolas) of Portsmouth and Michael Bivens of Portsmouth; his siblings, Jeff Bivens (Rhonda) of South Portsmouth, Connie Reinhardt of Portsmouth and Vicki Thayer (Jarrel) of Brandon; and his grandchild Memphis Basham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
