It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Kay Romans of Portsmouth, Ohio, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on June 2, 2023, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell Romans and Judy Jean Slutz Romans; and her brothers, Danny Phil Romans and Michael Aaron Romans. She is survived by : her sons, Russell McKinley of McDermott, Ohio and Tyler McKinley of McDermott, Ohio; four grandchildren Kenneth Mckinley Raelynn Mckinley Russell Mckinley Jr and Teagan Mckinley also her siblings, Scott Romans of Mt. Sterling, Rusty Romans (Cindy) of Chattanooga, Terry Romans (Margaret) of Greenup, Billy Romans of Dalton, Dwayne Romans (Jennifer) of Dalton, Kelly Romans (Robin) of Grayson, Kentucky, Barb Jarvis of Donville, Sherry Dean (Rick) of Rush and Tammy Robertson (Kenny) of Ashland, Kentucky. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
