He is survived by: his wife Sandy Shipley Hammond; his children, Chad Hammond (Robin) of Portsmouth and Tonya Sapp (John) of Fayetteville, NC; his grandchildren, Morgan Wisener, Jonathan Royster (Abby), Wil Hammond, Beau Hammond, Haidyn Griffith, Chase Sapp (Brittany), Courtney Scott (Arles) and Kristie Hemming; and his great grandchildren, Charlie, Raven, Addy, Rowan, Logan, Grayson, Emelia, Caden, Hunter, Dylan, Madison, Cash, Ryder James, Milly Maye and Matlyn Belle.
