He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kozee and Anna Marie Collins Ray; and his brothers, Robert E. Kozee, John Kozee, William Kozee and Darvin Kozee.

He is survived by: his siblings, Anthony Kozee of Portsmouth, Donald W. Kozee of Newark, James Paul Kozee of Otway, Helen Y. Meade of Youngstown, Ruth Paula Haynesworth of Albuquerque, NM and Roberta L. Ray of Versailles, IN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
