With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Farmer of Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on November 21, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hallock Salyer and Anna Mae Salyer Puckett (Salyers); her husband Johnny Farmer; her siblings, Thomas M. Salyer, Peggy Bates and Bonnie Kennedy; and her stepfather Haskell Puckett.
She is survived by: her former husband Donald R. Reardon; her children, Donald Jerome Reardon (Ellyn) of Pittston, PA and Leisa Ann Reardon Tackett of Portsmouth; her sister Connie McNeil (James) of Portsmouth; her grandchildren, Jackie Tackett (Angelina Lockhart), Jonathan Tackett (Amy Hawkins), Jenifer Haynes (Will), Amanda Artmont (Joseph), Erin Harvey (Chris) and Molly Reardon (Bob Dorsey); her stepgrandchildren, Laurie Wilbur (Dave), Shaun Fortney (Janine) and Brian Fortney (Sheri); and her close friends, Jack Tackett and Patricia Reardon. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Salvation Army.
