He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Marion Smith and Helen Templeman Smith; and his wife Janice Shephard Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Thompson (Scotty) of Clarktown; his sister Linda Maraman (Duke) of Tampa; and his grandson Jeb Thompson.
