Jason Patrick Sparks Obituary
Jason Patrick Sparks, 43, of Portsmouth, died Monday, June 24, 2024, at his home after an extended illness. Born on August 27, 1980, he was a son of Teresa (Jeff) and Brian (Johnnie) Sparks.
Also surviving are his son, Dylan John Sparks, a sister, Brianna (Chris) Sparks, a brother, Devin Sparks, nephews, Bryson and Gage, along with many loving family and friends.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Nellie Fisher and Garland and Nettie Sparks.
Jason had worked as a coal miner at Ohio County Mines in West Virgina. He was an amazing artist and reptile enthusiast.
A Celebration of Jason's Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 29th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
The family will receive guests at Brant's from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
