It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward McNeil of Portsmouth, Ohio, born in West Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on May 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Kitchen; his brother Joseph McNeil; his half-brothers, Virgil, Eugene and Veral Mault; his sisters, Marie Bowling and Rosetta Welch; and his half-sisters, Sylvia Thieken and Lima Mault.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Lee Salyer McNeil; his sister Mary Roy; and his grandson John Isaac Jr.. He is also survived by married on June 7, 1975, 2 stepdaughters, several nieces and nephews along with wonderful neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St Jude Children's Research.
