He is survived by: his wife Teresa McNeer Hairston; his children, Rodney Hairston (Juanita), Jarrod Hairston of Columbus, Tanya Terry of Flint, MI and Toyia Turner (Raphael) of Grand Blanc, MI; his stepchildren, Drew Applegate of Portsmouth and Lauren Applegate Riley (Sam) of Portsmouth; his sister Toye Parks (Doug) of Atlanta, GA; his half-siblings, Gary Hairston (Marilyn) of Portsmouth, Russell E. Hairston (Julia) of Cincinnati, Richard W. Hairston (Debbie) of Mason, Jenny Lynne Johnson (Steven) of Westerville, Tracey A. Hairston of Wheelersburg, Kathey L. Malone (Michael) and Valerie M. Carson of Portsmouth; his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Raini, Sydni and Shawnee Hairston; his great grandchild Solana; and his grandchildren, Rocco, Rocsi Turner, Gavin, Terpsi Applegate, Whitney Thuma, Marlee Hannah and River Swearingen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
