With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James David Young Sr. of Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on December 11, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Devin Young; and his stepfather James Sexton. He is survived by: his wife Carrie Young; his children, James Young Jr. (Devon Young) and Britney Young of West Portsmouth; his siblings, William Young (Karen) of Oak Hill, Jerry McGlone (Angie) of Portsmouth, Durward Chandler (Cathy) of McDermott and Mary Recchia (Angelo) of Michigan; and his grandchildren, Kelsi, Bailee, Dillon, Levi, Kiera and Laren.
The family request in lieu of flowers, donations to help with the funeral expenses be sent to the funeral home.
