He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph John and Florence Marie Krebs Witter; and his siblings, Joseph Eugene Witter, Wilbur C. Witter, Kathryn A. Glynn, Beata Hoodlet and Arlene Haugen.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lou Crosley Witter; his children, Brian Witter (Peggy) of Lucasville, Chris Witter (Michele) of West Portsmouth, Curt Witter (Sallie) of Batavia and Amy Witter (Randy Hone) of Portsmouth; his sister Marilyn J. Walsh of Cottonwood, CA; his grandchildren, Alexa (Andrew Eldridge), Jacob (Linsey), Wesley, Zane, Abby, Sam, Corey Witter and Samantha Marting (Austin Fortner); and his great grandchildren, Zander Eldridge and Bryer Marting.
