He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hoover and Hazel Jo Hoover (Biars) of Portsmouth. He is survived by: his daughters, Allison Hoover of Portsmouth and Deanna Hoover (Jacob) of Gallipolis; and also, Ronald and Mary Hoover of Portsmouth. He is also survived by brother and two sisters.
A reception was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the D. W. Swick Funeral Home (1104 Harrisonville Ave, New Boston, OH 45662). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at the Universal Cemetery.
