He was predeceased by: his parents, William Estill and Esther May Hill Adams; his daughter Christine Sue Adams; and his siblings, William, Earl, Roger Adams, Patricia Louise Adams Monk, Sharon Kay Hatfield Banuelos and Tammy Adams (Sylvia Black).
He is survived by: his wife Anita Kay Keibler Adams; his sons, Gary Wayne Adams Jr., Michael Paul Adams, Clarence Lee Adams and Anthony Joseph Adams; his siblings, David, Charles, John Adams, Shirley Adams Collett and Pam Adams; his sister-in-law Thelma Adams; his stepchildren, Jerrod Wheeler and Crystal Wheeler; his grandchildren, Savannah Adams, Cortney Adams, Faith Adams, Alexandria Adams, Christina Adams and Nathaniel Adams; and his great grandchildren, Anastasia Hamilton, Zachary Hale, Corbin Hale and Ashton Adams.
