She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cecil and Pearlie Sweeney Varner; her son Michael Todd Orrell; and her siblings, William "Buddy" Varner, William Cecil Varner, Jr., Thelma L. Smith, Shirley M. Gooslin, Lois J. Dotson and Betty S. Boyd.
She is survived by: her sons, Boyd Edward "Skip" Orrell of Portsmouth and Danny Ray Orrell (Susan) of Minford; her siblings, Dan Varner (Sandy) of Matewan, WV and Donna Hunt of Colbert, GA; and her grandchildren, Chloe Marie Orrell, William Buck Carver and Brian Wade Carver. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
