With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Rose Montavon of Portsmouth, Ohio, born in Otway, Ohio, who passed away on October 18, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Koenig; her husband Lawrence Edward Montavon; her daughter Jeannie Montavon; and her siblings, Frank, Mildred Koenig (Liston), Stella, Charles Eichenlaub, Henry, Zela Koenig (Scott), Louise Koenig (Fritz), James, Zora Koenig (Thompson), Herbert, Ruth Koenig (O'Hara), Clyde, Emma, Joseph Dettwiller, Margaret and Charles Prose.
She is survived by: her mother Dixie Case Koenig; and her children, Mark Montavon (Deborah) of Albuquerque, NM, Paul Montavon (Marsha) of Otway, George Montavon (Donna) of Pond Creek and Joann Montavon of Odenton, MD. She is also survived by two granddaughters; three grandsons; and two great-grandsons.
