It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Louise Bauer (Portsmouth, Ohio), born in Wheelersburg, Ohio, who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Schisler and Louise Filkins Schisler; her former husband Homer F. Yates; her husband Carl Bauer; and her siblings, Robert Schisler, Ralph Schisler, Paul Schisler, Mark Schisler and Elizabeth Schisler.
She is survived by: her sons, Doug Yates (Robin) of Sciotoville and Craig Yates (Cathy) of Lexington, KY; her grandchildren, Kayla Chinn (T. J.) of Lexington, Anne Nisbet (John) of Lexington, Tyler Paugh of Canal Winchester, Kyle Paugh of Pataskala and Ryan Paugh of South Webster; her great grandchildren, Emerson, Tate, Elijah, Evie Chinn, Scarlett Jo Nisbet, Landon Paugh and Noah Paugh; and her siblings, Roy Schisler of Cleveland, TN, Don Schisler (Cindy) of The Villages, FL, Ruth Powers of Montgomery, WV, Wanda Grieder of Wauseon and Linda Niner (Ron) of Minford. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
