He is survived by: his children, Tom Armstrong (Tammy) of Ironton and Jill Armstrong of Rosemount; his sister Gwen Armstrong; his grandchildren, Hunter Armstrong, Kaitlyn Carver (Luke Wright) and Nick Cook (Lindsay); and his great grandchild Layla Cook.

Memorial gifts may be made to Rosemount Fire Department.
