It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Harlan Heath of Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Heath and Arrietta Applegate Heath; and his granddaughter Brittany Smith. He is survived by: his wife Lorena "Rene" Holsinger Heath; his daughters, Terri Leasure (Steve) of West Portsmouth and Janet Stambaugh (Chet) of Wheelersburg; his stepchildren, Martin Bauer of Wheelersburg, Jon Bauer (Jim Gilbert) of Safety Harbor, FL, Angie Dillow (Greg) of Wheelersburg and Annette Smith of Wheelersburg; and his close friend Louise Bauer. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brant Funeral Service (422 Harding Ave, Portsmouth, OH 45662). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Memorial Burial Park (10556 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH 45694).
