He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Potters and Iva Potters Smith; and his siblings, Shannon Cunningham, Tammy Jarvis and Stanley Potters.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy A. Potters; and his brother Robert Ensign of Macon, Mississippi.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
