It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Annette Gaines of Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on December 29, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Courtney and Linda Pearl Gaines (Newsome); and her brothers, Joseph Gaines, Dennis Gaines and Timothy Gaines.
She is survived by: her daughter Courtney Gaines of Portsmouth; her siblings, Carlton Gaines of Portsmouth, Paul Gaines of Portsmouth, Harrison Gaines (Karen) of Reynoldsburg and Mary Hoover (Ronald) of Portsmouth; and her grandchildren, Gracie Royal of Portsmouth, Axle Workman of Portsmouth and Lexie Workman of Portsmouth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
