He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin Winters, Sr. and Edna Ruby Winters-Ratcliff; and his siblings, Rendel, Wilma and Juanita.
He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Louise Pyles Winters; his daughters, Theresa McCoy (Allen), Barbara Winters (Douglas), Patricia Lucas (Daniel) and Melinda Dever (Brian); and his grandchildren, Freddie, Tiffany, Benjamin, Amanda, Kathryn, David, Errinn, Danielle, Madison and Kylee. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
