He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Mullins and Alma Beulah Cox Wright; his son Bryan Christopher Wright; his stepfather Dewey Wright, Jr.; and his sister Betty Wright Grigsby.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Lynn McClary Wright; his daughters, Shelley Wright Nunley of Columbus and Kathy Zamer (Andy) of Portsmouth; his daughter-in-law Tina Wright of Winder, GA; his siblings, Thomas Wright of Chapin, SC, James Mullins of Lucasville, Cathy Noles of Portsmouth, Donna Mullins Daniel of Lucasville and Lisa Tackett of Lucasville; his grandchildren, Christopher Maxwell Wright, Alexis Marie Wright, Robert Cameron Schackart, Alex Michael Gahm, Emelia Danielle Nunley, Ellie Olivia Nunley and Gabrielle Makenna Zamer; and his great grandchild River Cameron Schackart. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home, Inc. (1422 Lincoln St, Portsmouth, OH 45662). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
