It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adam Ryan Shields of Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on August 16, 2022, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Timothy R. Shields; and his grandparents, Ralph, Norma Shields, Sherwood and Janet Delamater.
He is survived by: his mother Myra Ellen Delamater Shields of Portsmouth; his son Elijah Andrew Shields of Mt. Vernon; his brother Jason Andrew Shields of Portsmouth; his aunt Cheryl Selbee (Anthony) of Lucasville; his cousins, Erin (Ryan), Salisbury, Logan, Carson, Addison, Elijah and Kristin Pertuset (Darren); his great-aunt Ruth Delamater; his aunt Melody Shields Pontious of South Shore, KY; his cousins, Wendee (Dave), Underwood, Hailee, Chris Allen, Hudson, Ashley (Jason), McKenna, Andrew, Danyail Risner, Axton and Peighton; and also Adam.
