Lois June Dragoo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois June Dragoo of Portland, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lois June departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lois June. Though Lois June may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrel Staats and Erma Staats (Riggs); her children, Michael Southall and Rachael Smith; and her brothers, Charles and Denzil Staats.
She is survived by: her husband Larry R. Dragoo; and her children, John Southall, Debra Anthony and Cindy Hall. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Waybright Funeral Home (511 S Church St, Ripley, WV 25271). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
