He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Borders and Hazel Borders (Smith); and his former wife Betty Harter. He is survived by: his wife Linda Creps; his children, Kathy Quate of Oregon and Bill Borders of Risingsun; and his stepson Justin Cole (Elinora) of Defiance. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren with one on the way and 2 great-grandchildren with one on the way; 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
