With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Thomas of Portage, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on July 5, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olif Thomas and Mellie Thomas (Cox); and his siblings, Layton Thomas and Judy Ross. He is survived by: his brother Lonnie Thomas (Sharon); his former wife Janice (Ragon); his children, Lyndon Thomas (Barb) and Lori Hall (Joe); his grandchildren, Rick Thomas (Sarah) and Victoria Posey (Kyler); his great grandchild Nora Posey; and his wife Ruth Nielson.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to Answers in Genesis, an organization that Larry deeply cared about.
