He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Akins and Delcia Akins; his brothers, Carlos and Carl "Tony"; and his wife Sue.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jana Gallinger of Colorado Springs and Stacie Akins (Thomas) of Barberton; and his siblings, Terry of Portage Lake, Peggy Thursby (John), Beverly Diane Dias (Joe) of Stow, Cathy Franks of Wadsworth and Bonnie Workman (Dane) of Barberton. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
