She was predeceased by: her father L. Maynard Chapman; her former husband David Troxell; and her brother Larry Chapman. She is survived by: her husband Tom Keys; her children, Charolyn Kelly of Bowling Green, Holly Gilsdorf (Mike) of Bowling Green and John Keys (Jennifer) of Swanton; her grandson Nathan Neal (Carrie Mann); her children, Gabriel Kelly, Mason Gilsdorf, Mya Gilsdorf, Evelyn Keys and Merida Keys; her mother-in-law Ruth Troxell; and her siblings-in-law, Laura Chapman, Eileen Foate, Connie Mears, Marilyn Keys and Ray Keys. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn's honor to the church or the American Cancer Society.
