He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren S. Butterfield and Dorothy M. Butterfield (Henman); and his sister Karen Zwiebel. He is survived by: his wife Paula A. Dorsey; his children, Dustin W. Butterfield (Chasity) of Port Jefferson and Victoria J. Birkemeier (Seth) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Bentley, Abigail, Shelby and Landen; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Berryman, Tim Dorsey, Lisa Christman (John), Susan McMaster, Mike Dorsey and Jenny Larger. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
