She is survived by: her husband Melvin Cox of Port Clinton; her children, Michelle Rawls of Columbus, OH, Jewel Haynes of Sandusky, OH and Jason Hunter of North Charleston, S. C.; her stepchildren, Richard Cox of Detroit, MI, Ken Cox of Chicago, ILL, Tony Cox of Eugene, OR, Melvin Cox Jr. of Decatur, ILL and Tina Cox of Decatur, ILL; and her siblings, Clifton McNair of Sandusky, OH, Lee Horne of Port Clinton, OH, Priscilla Dafir of Fayetteville, NY, Gwen Empson, Sandra Rivers of Philadelphia, PA, Jackie Lockhart of Sandusky, OH, Elizabeth Matthews of Lansing, S. C., Felicia Horne of Lansing, S. C. and Vivian Horne of Port Clinton. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and additional extended family.
