He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Bowen and Grace Bowen (Hunt); his daughter Cindy Baumes; his son-in-law Larry Kokinda; and his siblings, Ted Bowen, Leo Bowen, Mickey Bowen, Joyce Tedlie and Joann Hardin.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Warner of Portsmouth, OH, Cathy Halstead (Sam) of Port Clinton, OH, Leonard Bowen (Jan) of Abbeville, AL, Susan Kokinda of Port Clinton, OH, James Bowen (Sharon) of Taylor Mill, KY, Nancy Calvert of Port Clinton, OH and Lisa Kuras of Port Clinton, OH. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
