Hurt (Port Clinton, Ohio), born in Fairmont, West Virginia, who passed away on October 20, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent William Preston; her husband John Hurt Jr.; her siblings, Leroy, Walter, Robert, John Preston and Lillian Preston King; her children, Robin Hurt, James Hurt and Mark Hurt; her grandchild Robin Hurt; and her son-in-law Lance Hedquist.
She is survived by: her parent Pearl Lawrence Preston; her children, Barbara Patton of Sheffield Lake and John Hurt III of Spencer; and her daughter-in-law Shirley Hurt of Lorain. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild, as well as sisters, Louise Hillberry and Eloise Fahrner and many nieces and nephews.
