He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Wood and Juanita Wood; his wife Betty Lou Sarty; his son Robert L. Wood, Jr.; and his sisters, Shirley Bradberry and Velma Junge.
He is survived by: his daughter Dawnna Whiting (Darrell) of Port Clinton; his grandchildren, Kristen Wood, Justin Whiting and Evan Whiting; his great grandchild Charlee Whiting; and his sister Darlene Worz of Toledo.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the donor's choice.
