He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Rounds and Mary Rounds (Drusbacky); his wife Linda Gluth; and his siblings, Lowell, Doris, Irene and Ann.
He is survived by: his children, Richard E. Rounds, Jr. (Kathy), Robert Rounds and Cynthia Schroeder (Matthew); his grandchildren, Nicholas (Madison), Addison, Sarah and Aryn; his sister Marcia Wieber; and his niece Kathy Thomas (Wieber). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
