Matthews (Port Clinton, Ohio), born in Rogersville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Matthews and Lura Matthews (Thompson); his former wife Patricia Scott; his daughter Carol Hayduk; and his siblings, Johnny, Lloyd, Dewey Matthews, Mary, Luna, Virgie, Della, Nella, Dencil and Audrey.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jones; his children, Vicky Fehrmann (Steve), Betty Bomba (William), Scott Matthews (Renee), Michael Matthews and David Matthews (Sue); and his sister-in-law Nancy Matthews. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
