It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John P. Spieldenner of Port Clinton, Ohio, born in Fremont, Ohio, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul E. Spieldenner and Theresa M. Spieldenner (Pauken); his wife Carolyn Tight; his siblings, James, Thomas, Charles Spieldenner and Carolyn Ruble (Joseph); and his sister-in-law Mary Spieldenner (James).
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Johnson (Ted) of Port Clinton, Steve Spieldenner (Kim) of Toledo, OH, Paul Spieldenner (Carolyn) of Normandy Park, WA and Peter Spieldenner (Lisa) of Port Clinton; his sister Mary; his siblings-in-law, James Weller, Beverly Spieldenner (Thomas), Pat Spieldenner (Charles) and Joseph Ruble (Carolyn); his stepgrandchildren, Bo Henry (Rachel), David Johnson (Chelsea) and Bryan Johnson (Tyler Marie); and his grandchildren, Molly, Emma, Mark, Joseph, Aaron, Marie of Karen, Ray, Olivia, Spencer and Lily Spieldenner. He is also survived by 11 step great grandchildren.
