He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn "Kitty" Bergman; his parents, Eldo Bergman and Agnes Bergman; and his brothers, William Bergman and Henry Bergman.
He is survived by: his daughter Kristin Middleton (Cory) of Port Clinton; his grandchildren, Pierce and Violet; his children, Marisa Bergman of Texas and Jonathan "Jonny" Bergman of Oak Harbor; his granddaughter Kinzlee; his son Benjamin "Ben" Bergman of Virginia Beach; and his siblings, Dr. Eldo Bergman (Mary Ann), Marie LaPointe, Joan Knight, Barbara Bergman, Joseph Bergman (Mary), James Bergman (Donna), Mary Dunlap (Craig), George Bergman (Cathy), Cathy Dzoba (Greg) and Chris Bergman (Kelly). He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
