He was predeceased by: his parents, George T. Alexander and Gayle Alexander (Moyer); his siblings, Don Alexander (Helen), Peg Weising (Fred), Jeanne Mueller (Walter) and Barbara Chatelain (Ned); and his son-in-law Michael Curry.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean M. Smith; his children, Lee Ann Karhoff (Melvin) of Findlay, OH, Marsha Curry of Stow, OH, George Alexander (Nancy) of Arlington, OH, Tracy Flavell (Thomas) of Melbourne, Matthew V. Alexander of Charlotte and Margaret Karhoff (Kevin) of Findlay, OH.; and his grandchildren, Kelly Roberts, Brent Curry, Beth Hagey (Nathaniel), Scott Flavell (Rachel), Andrew Flavell (Jessica), Melissa Harris (Andrew), Tiffany Riker (Nathan), Lindsey Walker (Aaron), Joe Alexander (Maegan), Matt Alexander (Megan), Parker Alexander, Kelsey Alexander, Jeffrey Karhoff and Rachel Karhoff. He is also survived by 16 great granchildren and four great great grandchildren.
