Dowdle of Port Clinton, Ohio, born in Uhrichsville, Ohio, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Dowdle and Tresa Dowdle (Koons); and his siblings, Jeffrey, Dave, Lawrence and Marjorie Wrisk.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Jean (Howard); his daughters, Yvonne Dowdle of Fort Lupton, CO, Diana Johnson (Gregg) of Oak Harbor, OH and Stephanie Whipple (Daniel) of Galesburg, MI; his grandchildren, Amanda Johnson, Cortney White (Jason), Kristen Hess (Tyler), Zackary Whipple and Sadie Nelson (Troy); his great grandchildren, Killian Printy, Kennedy White, Jackson White, Ella White, David Nelson, Scarlett Nelson and Elliott Nelson; his siblings, Nancy Wingard of Mamouth, AZ, Gary Dowdle of Jewett, OH, Ronald Dowdle of Jewett, OH and Wayne Dowdle (Joyce) of Jewett, OH; and his sister-in-law Nancy Dowdle of Adena, OH..
