Helen Clare Casale Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Clare Casale of Port Clinton, Ohio, who passed away on February 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Clare Casale to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Strahler and Emma Strahler (O'Linn); her husband Michael J. Casale; her daughter-in-law Michele Casale; and her siblings, Paul Strahler (Margaret), Rob Strahler (Phoebe), Norb Strahler (Jean), Mary Rybski (Vern), Monica Grossman (Bill) and Gene Strahler (Phyllis).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Casale (Beth), Anthony Casale (Susan), Therese Tyson (Craig) and Christopher Casale; her grandchildren, Emily, Meschach Keen, Joseph, Casey Everett, Angie Casale, Anthony, Kristin Casale, Megan, Henry Kunze, Michael Casale and Haily Tyson; and her great grandchildren, Addison Everett and Brooks Everett. She is also survived by her husband and children.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory (216 Washington St, Port Clinton, OH 43452). A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (414 Madison St, Port Clinton, OH 43452). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Catawba Island Cemetery (4997 E Cemetery Rd, Port Clinton, OH 43452).
In lieu of flowers, Helen's request was that memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Funeral Luncheon Committee.
