He was predeceased by: his father Beryl Gibson; and his brothers, James and Russell. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gibson (Barnes); his children, Tamara Gibson of Port Clinton and Allen Gibson of Holland; and his sister Frances Rieser (Dick) of Ashland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the donor's favorite charity.
