With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dionicia G. Alvarez (Port Clinton, Ohio), who passed away on April 21, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Garza and Paula Garza (Ramirez); her husband Juan Alvarez; her siblings, Zaragoza Garza, Pablo Garza and Eva Moreno; and her brothers-in-law, Roy Castillo and Efrian Moreno.
She is survived by: her children, Catarino "Cat" Alvarez (Dana), Eduardo Alvarez, Fransisco Alvarez (Laurie), Lydia Whitt (Tim), Elda Alvarez and Juan Alvarez (Chris Byrd); her grandchildren, Eddie Fick (Krystle), Benjamin Alvarez (Hannah), Arthur Fick, Anastacia Alvarez (Kenisha Stewart), Anya Alvarez, Alicia Ramsey (Antonio), Raeanne Alvarez, Keely Alvarez, Amanda Alvarez, Emily Alvarez and Alaina Berry; her siblings, Reyes Garza (Alicia), Ramon Garza, Juana Castillo, Mary Nevarez (Robert), Santos Rodriguez and Nena Lemeus; and her sister-in-law Brenda Garza.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or to the Port Clinton Friends of the Cemetery, 912 Lee Avenue, Port Clinton.
