He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hines and Grace Hines (Loy); his spouse Clara Yost; and his siblings, Mary Kellas, Rose Tomlinson, Edna Davis, James Hines, George Hines, Steve Hines and David Hines.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Nietfeld (Kenneth) of Port Clinton, Steven Hines (Stephanie), Ponte Vedra, Randy Hines and Port Clinton; and his siblings, Betty Gordon, Grace Kestor, Larry Hines, William Hines and Donald Hines. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
