We bid farewell to Cleta C. Jeffries of Port Clinton, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 8, 2025 at the age of 90. Cleta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas B. Purtle and Pearl Purtle (Baker); her spouse Lorin M. Jeffries; and her brother J. B. Purtle. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas B. Jeffries (Teresa) of Helena, MT and Kent Jeffries (Krista) of Oak Harbor, OH; her grandchildren, Connor-Shay Jeffries, Luke Barnett, Kirk Barnett, Ruben Barnett, Serena Barnett, Alex Barnett, Crystal Barnett, Brayden Jeffries (Mel), Andrew Jeffries and Hannah Jeffries; and her great grandchild Briella Jeffries.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Port Clinton Chapel (1124 Fulton St, Port Clinton, OH 43452). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salem Township Union Cemetery (11565 OH-105, Oak Harbor, OH 43449).
